How do I...
  • Get a library card?  Bring a valid form of ID if you are 18+ (under 18 you need to bring a legal guardian) and fill out an application. 
  • Access my account? ​​Open ValleyCat and log on using your library card number and 4 digit pin. You can use ValleyCat to access your account, place holds and to view the Library Catalog!
  • Renew a book?  Items can be renewed by calling the library during open hours, renewing online, or calling toll-free 1-866-290-8681. Note: toll-free renewals can be made only once per item. Sorry, no renewals of overdue items or items on hold.
  • Request a book? Requests can be made in person or on ValleyCat by logging on using you library card number and 4 digit pin.
  • Pay a fee online? You can only pay for fees that are $5 and over. You will need your library card and pin number. You may pay online (not in person or on the phone) using SmartPay.​ Cash and check payments may be made in person at the library.
  • Reserve the Community Room - call us at (209)966-2140 and ask us about availability.
  • Use wi-fi - Come on in and connect to the MariposaLibrary Wi-fi network for free with no password. Wi-fi is available in the parking lot.
  • Use a public computer? - Use one of the public computers by bringing your library card or asking for a guest pass at the circulation desk and logging in.
  • Borrow a Chromebook? - Chromebooks are available to check out at the circulation counter.
